Healthy Living Tips

  • Nuts and seeds are a great source of protein, healthy fats, vitamins, minerals, and fibers. They can add texture and nutritional value to any dish. Nuts and seeds also regulate body weight, food intake, and help burn energy.

  • Beans, lentils, and peas are rich in fiber. They are a great source of plant-based protein.

  • Whole grains are filling and rich in fiber. They make a great satisfying snack or meal.

  • Fruits are rich in antioxidants, vitamins, and fiber. They make a great alternative to a sweet snack or dessert. Dried fruit removes water content from the fruit allowing its shelf life to extend but keeps all of its nutrients. Fresh fruit can only last anywhere from a couple of days to a few weeks.
